The Joint Private school "Puerto de Mejillones", was founded one April 13, 1969 by husband and wife John Poma Loza and Damiana Chinese Poma, located in the area on July 16, street Pascoe No. 2971, with Ministerial Resolution 793 for the primary level, 123 for the secondary level. Counting today with initial lower secondary levels of 1 to 4 Primary 1 to 5, upper primary and 6th to 8th; a normal school teachers and excellent curriculum. The school was founded for the sole purpose of serving the children of school age.
